What Feedburner & Feedblitz got to do with your blog?

Feedburner is a free service and provide tons of useful blogging tools. I just subscribed to feedburner and did some readings. There are a lot of things there, so I start with site chicklet. Prior to that, I had my blog feed to be forwarded to feedburner, so not it is available at http://feeds.feedbu...ner.com/mightyhitter . By using this single URL, I don’t have to offer multiple versions of feed (rss’s & atom). Any feed reader or aggregators can reed my feedburner address.

So I have the chicklet code and paste it to the sidebar. Not to confuse the readers, I just remove the old feed URL from my template. Thats for human. Then I need to have the auto-discovery funtion to return my feedburner address. Auto-discovery is referring to an ability of any bot reader to know exactly what is our feed URL by reading the meta page.

Here is how I did that:

First I looked in header (theme editor) for the following lines:

Then I just changed all the href into my feedburner URL. Why do I need to do that? Because I would like both human and robot to read my feed from a single source and easily track it down for my fun use;..As for the Feedblitz, it offers a tool where visitors can subscribe to my Feedblitz and get updated about my posts whenever I publish it.
