Still with paid emails?
I received a call from an old friend (a close friend during our secondary school time) last few weeks.
“I heard you are doing some serious internet business?”, he asked me.
“No, it’s not that serious. I’m just having fun with it. Not a business really, but I enjoy creating websites and do get small advertisement commission. How are you doing?”, to which I replied.
“You know e-gold huh.. I’m new with these internet business thing. Now I’m getting paid from paid mail programs. Some of my officemates are accumulating thousands now! What do you think of that?”
“Wow that’s a lot. But allow me tell you one thing… there are a lot of things getting hyped and people on the internet are not telling the truth.. chance is you are reading only free emails, I doubt that $10 or $15 per email is true. Nobody is going to give you that much.”, starting to lecture him. Then continue, “..but if you find a $0.01/email, than it can be true. The problem is, you will need to read 10,000 emails per month to get a decent $100. Don’t believe in ‘networking theory’ though if you have come accross before..”.
That too much discouragement to my old friend, but I must be honest in giving opinions. I think so.
Few days later he called me back saying that those guys who redeemed the due still not receiving their money yet. Anyway my old friend happily announce that one of program is paying, he did recieve $0.01 in his e-gold account

When would they ever learn??
Despite so many cases of people not getting paid from such PaidToRead sites, there are still people who insists it is the next best thing.
$0.01 for how many hours of work??!! Work at McD pays even better and get free lunch somemore!
