Remove “Advertise on This Site” & increase CTR?
Few weeks before I found an interesting post about removing “Advertise on This Site” link from your Google Adsense block. I could not relocate the author’s website, but he did mention about a small increment in the CTR after removing it. I made a search and found another post about this here.
After trying it myself, I can see an increase in my earnings - a little, but that surely will do 
. Well maybe it’s just a fluke, but I’m quite happy with it. Anyone else?

But I tried to do it and it seems it’s not working. I’m fairly new to adsense (been using it for 3 days), so please excuse me if my question is really dumb.
I went to my account settings and changed them so that now it says “You are not currently subscribed to Onsite Advertiser Sign-Up”. Then I went to Adsense setup and copied & pasted the new code to my files. Yet, I still see the “Advertise on this site” thing.
What am I doing wrong? Did you have to wait before the changes showed in your page?

Okay, scratch that, it works now. I guess it just takes some time to update or something.
