Images Next to Google Adsense

I have this post saved as draft in my control panel for days, now I think it should be published. Actually I’m interested in an technique where one image or two are displayed next to . But the problem is, is it allowed by Google? Oops I did refer to TOS, don’t ask me to ;)

After looking at some dicussions here;

I’m quite sure that it’s allowed, but some rules applied;

1. Let the images not about something to attract clicks such as arrows.

2. Let the images not to be confused as part of the ads.

3. In some cases, border between the images and ads is needed.
