I don’t really need O2 Atom
->
I’ve been using O2 Atom for about 2 months. Dumping Nokia 6680 for O2 Atom was not a really good move, except that my wife had got a free upgrade from Nokia 3310 to 6680
It’s a little unfair to compare a SmartPhone to a PDA, but I’m more into the voice quality and loudness. Nokia 6680 speaker works pretty well so that anyone can converse via the phone just as they are in the same room, it should be. But it’s a little disappointment to hear “What?”, “Sorry, tell me again?”, “I hear you said something..” from the other end with O2 Atom.
I still have my old DELL Axim PDA, which I think is not a match to O2 Atom. If it’s not because of the phone cabality, I will still be using Dell Axim and won’t bother the O2. O2 Atom to me is too crowded with decorative programs and not really usefull. That’s maybe the reason why DELL Axim PDA perform better; the shortest time in startup, quick program launch, wide screen (of course) where nothing of these are available with O2 Atom.
I may not say O2 Atom is a waste, but my wife did.
Picture quality with Nokia 6680 is better eventhough it’s 1.7MP, but not with O2 Atom.

Or maybe what I need is just a phone, not really a PDA.
