HYIP halal or haram: you will see what you want
Last week I went to 2-days Mentoring & Coaching Seminar at Kuala Lumpur. It was a good seminar by Shaker Sdn Bhd, emphasizing on solution talk.. rather than a problem talk.
I remember the speaker (Mr Shaker) asked us why when someone after years of waiting bought a Honda, then many of his friends also use Honda. Everyone else on the road will drive Honda.. Honda everywhere. Then he changed to a brand new BMW, yet it was still the same.. BMW get caught anywhere on the road not long after that. Why?
It’s such a same situation with someone seeing a ghost. Why Shirley among her team of hikers in the middle of the dark forest managed to see a “ghost” while her friends did not see anything? Or that Joe that drive on the highway in the earliest morning suddenly saw something strange in white jumping on his car windscreen and showed it’s killing teeths?
It’s that the ghost from outside or inside of your mind? That’s the point, you will see and found whatever you have in mind, or an imagination. Mind power. You don’t actually see the imagination, but imagination will help you to find one.
In the above context, since there is no clear-cut hukum is available yet.. people will see anything turns to be halal or haram according to whatever you have in mind or in your heart.
A mind that want it to be halal will see whatever ways to justify it as clean and acceptable, while a mind that want it to be haram will see only one justification as a basis and never care about the rest of good things about it. How to decide your mind? You can’t. It’s such a natural process by heart and mind, and I beleive the natural guided instinct or iman will drive you the way. May God help us.
