Genuine Opportunity vs. Scam Plan
->
Almost all the time that I wonder how in the world that our friends who are innocently looking for ways to make money online allowed themself to be trapped into those dirty scam investment plans. I had a light talk with some friends before and we can agree on some important points about how new comers in an online make-money world fall into those programs;
1. Online Experience
Some new comers are using computers for years but have very limited knowledge in online investment. New comers will never know about what are those subdomains, top level domain, free web hosting etc. So a program is offering a 30% ROI per month, but the website itself is hosted on a free webspace provider, or the aministrator is using free email address. So what? New comers will never know a clue on this.
2. Commercial Values
So a program from claims to be founded or chaired by Warren Buffet or Bill Gates and offer a 20% ROI per month. What if the program website itself is using free template & public domain images? So what if the ‘About Us’ is linking to a default index.php file? What if you see that ‘Contact Us’ page only list an email address as a medium of communication. No phone numbers (or a Toll-Free Number), office address or company background? Warren Buffet? Think again.
3. Approved by Authorities
It’s the art of negotiation in a business deal. You can tell a good point about your item to attract and twist your client attention to focus more on the less important part. So these programs are using top public figures, or articles, or an ads section in local newspaper to project a good image of the program in public point of view. So you got an advertisement in newspaper, so what? Pay RM25 to the newspaper and get another section tomorrow, it’s about buying an ads space, not about approval things at all.
4. “I heard about this from my old friends, he won’t scam me!”
It’s not that guy or any upliners fault. Of course our friends won’t scam us. The program admin is the winner; anyone else will be scammed including your friends too.
So in case of anyone is looking for a free advise; avoid being a desperado. A good program will live today, and will live tomorrow - don’t rush, make a survey or at least some logical thinking ![]()
