Cari.Net & ResellerZoom.com - Sharing my experience
->
I started with ResellerZoom somewhere in May 2005 and it has been almost 2 years for me. Nothing much I can say, with a Budget Plan of that small $4.95/month subscription. If you are planning for your own multiple sites with light monthly traffic, then it can be best serving for it, else for a real reseller account, I just can say you need to find a better place for that. It is too limited & too strict. I still remember on how my forum site was kicked out of the server just like that, for excessing the limited CPU resource. At that time, my forum was running with Xoops CMS with about 300 registered users and about 50 or less online users at a time. I also remember on how the technical staff accused my domain to be the target of DDOS attack, and rejected my application to upgrade my plan for that sake. It was bad day to me, since at that time I was on vacation and had to urgently find new servers while I was hardly connected to internet with that lagging dial-up connection.
Cari.net - well it is the cheapest dedicated servers provider I can find on earth. Tell me any other company that can offer you Dual Core Xeon Woodcrest at $160/month except Cari.net. But now I do really believe something people say about “if you pay peanuts, you will get monkeys”. I got a very bad feeling the first time I sent them email asking something about the server. I never got a reply on that. But the temptation of a cheap server was so wild so I just closed my eyes on that and confirmed my subscription. I got my server failed to reboot in the very first day, and I need to wait for the other day for their technian to help me with that. That was so slow, extremely slow. However one good thing about Cari.net that they honor the 14 day refund policy. Even though they was again very slow in the refund process, I got that settled about 2 weeks after the notice.
Well that’s all. Sometimes we do find good providers, until something wrong happened.
