Adsense to BCB - 1 Month
I used to deposit my Adsense cheque to Maybank, except that for last month when I changed my mind and headed to BCB for that purpose. This is my third attempt with BCB, when the first 2 was rejected:- Kuantan branch won’t be accepting foreign cheque due to the fact that my existing saving account is maintained by Batu Berendam branch.
So I just acted to be a little smarter this time and applied for a new saving account with Kuantan branch. RM200 initial deposit, and there I got my new account in less than 30 minutes, then had my cheque dropped into the machine.
Last few days I had another cheque from Adsense and did it the same at BCB. “It should be 15 - 30 days for this foreign cheque to be cleared.”, a lady at the counter said.
It is. I had the older cheque cleared today after 30 days. The processing time is about the same as Maybank, but far more better than Hong Leong - nearly 40 days;) Furthermore, BCB only charged me about 0.8% from the converted RM value which is real competitive.

I used to deposit my foreign check at RHB Bank which they charge it RM15 Per Check. It takes 4 to 6 weeks for the check to be cleared.
